FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Warner Robins/Houston County, GA: Armando Vias has once again released a statement in regards to the advocacy efforts. The petition, found on Change.org, has reached over 100 signatures! Here is what Armando had to say:
First of all, my heart goes out to the people of Buffalo, New York. The violence in this country needs to stop. I stand with the people of Buffalo, New York. We must love one another, not hate one another.
Now, to the petition. I am overwhelmed right now. I can’t believe that we went over the 100 signatures mark on this petition! Currently, as of May 16, 2022, we are at 105 signatures! I appreciate you for signing this petition.
I am now in contact with the Mayor of Warner Robins. Hopefully, I will have a meeting soon with the Mayor regarding the issues.
Speaking of issues, I met someone at church yesterday, and she told her story about a place on Russell Parkway. She told me that there is a sidewalk that stops suddenly. This is ridiculous. We must have accessible sidewalks all across town. She literally had to walk down Russell Parkway!
I will continue to push for safer sidewalks, meaning sidewallks that will keep going on Russell Parkway.
Keep fighting.Armando Vias
