Last week, I attended the Warner Robins, Georgia City Council Meeting for the first time. The good news is that I was able to speak at the meeting during the citizen comments. It is at the end of each meeting after they vote on the items in the agenda

I spoke about the lack of affordable and reliable public transportation in Warner Robins/Houston County, and also provided solutions to this issue.

You can find a screen-recording of the video below, since it is an hour into the meeting before I was able to speak. Here is some of the points that I’ve mentioned in my comments:

  • Warner Robins has a population of over 80,000 people and growing.
  • Houston County has a population of about 167,000 people.
  • I go over what people with disabilities are currently having to rely on as their transportation.
  • I then go over solutions, and I am willing to collaborate on the city/county.
