Description
The Houston Home Journal has a new and updated website!
The next website to be on the chopping block for an accessibility review by a community advocate is the new and updated Houston Home Journal website, located at hhjonline.com. This local newspaper is based out of Houston County, Georgia.
Join me live (Thursday, April 25, 2024) at noon (12:00 PM Eastern Time) as I review the Houston Home Journal’s website from a blind person’s perspective and listen to me reacting to any accessibility issues that I face navigating the website.
Note: I recently visited the Houston Home Journal’s website, and reported some accessibility issues. You can find these issues in an advocacy letter that I wrote and posted on my website for transparency and viewing pleasure at https://armandovias.com/…/letters/hhj-accessibility-letter.
Disclaimer
I am not a web-accessibility expert. However, I can advise on what needs to be improved, such as the headings structure, linking, and so on.
