2026-2027 Advocacy Priorities


Welcome to my 2026-2027 Advocacy Priorities page. Here, you will find the specific issues and policy goals I am currently championing. While this list is reviewed and updated annually, it remains a living document that may be adjusted to address urgent community needs at any time.


Local Priorities

  1. Accessible, affordable, and reliable on-demand public transportation
  2. Implementing Project Lifesaver to protect and rescue vulnerable Houston County residents who are prone to the life-threatening behavior of wandering
  3. The installation of accessible pedestrian signals (APS) on major streets across cities in Houston County (City/County Owned)
  4. Updated training for current and new poll workers on the Adaptive Voting Machines for upcoming Elections (Midterms, Special Elections)
  5. Virtual City Council and County Commission meetings where citizens can speak to elected officials via Zoom or other platforms. This should apply to all Houston County municipalities (Byron, Centerville, Perry, and Warner Robins) as well as the Houston County Board of Commissioners.
  6. Online documents from Houston County, Georgia Government to be in an accessible format(s)

Georgia Priorities

  1. The passage of the Reproductive Freedom Act (RFA)
  2. Expanding access to Medicaid
  3. Strengthening protections for workers with disabilities in cases of unexpected layoffs and other issues affecting these workers
  4. The passage of the Braille Literacy Bill

United States Priorities

  1. The restoration of Roe V. Wade
  2. Increasing the limits for people who are on social security (SSI/SSDI)
