Hello there!
My name is Armando Vias, and I’m a community advocate championing equal access for everyone in my local area.
I’m also a blind adult. However, being blind doesn’t stop me from achieving my dreams and goals in life.
I created this website in hopes of spreading awareness about my blindness and to let other people know that I’m not different. I’m a human like everyone else.
Background
I was born with an eye condition called Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) weighing at two pounds, 14 ounces. My due date was suppose to be in December.
I graduated from the Georgia Academy for The Blind in May 2021.
